If you are interested in a commissioned piece of collaged artwork, please contact Dawn.

Do you have a great idea for a collage?

Dawn would love to talk with you!

STEP 1. We start with a conversation about who will receive the collage, and what the clients are thinking about images, color, symbols.

STEP 2. Dawn begins the design process which includes researching images and collecting papers. Usually, she will ask the client to approve a black and white design or a color composite before painting.

STEP 3. The commission is finished, varnished. wired to hang, and ready for pick-up at Dawn's studio, or sent to a soon-to-be happy recipient.

Collage & Illustration Commissions

Dawn enjoys speaking with prospective clients to discover which words, images, or other objects, have special meaning. She then translates these images into a unique, treasured piece of artwork.

These pieces are perfect gifts for an anniversary, graduation or any special event/person you want to honor.

Reviews from Satisfied Customers

"Dawn created a collage for me in memory of my father, who lived with Alzheimer’s for many years. I gave her a number of ideas, things that stood out as significant parts of life with him—birds, music, language, heritage. I was surprised how many elements she was able to incorporate. The resulting piece of art is beautiful, and I’ve hung it where I can see it daily as a reminder to live fully and with love."

"As an interior designer, I am always looking with eyes wide open, for that piece of art that is a statement piece, making a space feel complete.  I fell in love with a new piece Dawn painted on a wood door. It has been a focal point on the main floor of my house and has been my source of decorating inspiration since then!"

"I love it, I love it, I love it"

-Dr. Mary Taylor, Wake Forest, NC

Based upon her work as shown on her website, we chose Dawn to create a keepsake for our son and his wife after their wedding. She did a fabulous job of listening to us and creating a piece of art that beautifully depicted their journey together. We hope to make this a family tradition! Thank you, Dawn!
